Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

We've had a real tree for the last seven years. This year we got an artificial tree. It takes a little work to 'fluff' it, but it turned out very nice in the end. The angel we had was silver and the tree ornaments are burgandy and gold so I had to find a new angel. After looking all over town, I couldn't find one any where! One of my co-workers told be about a store in Leesburg that was going out of business, Places in the Heart. They have tons of Christmas stuff and I was able to find an angel. I'm still trying to put up all the Christmas decorations around the house. Seems like there's too much to do and not enough time (or motivation).

My nativity set. My favorite is the 'Wise Men Christmas box' I received from one of my friends a few years ago. I love it! It reminds me of how much we all need to seek out the Savior in our lives. I love this holiday season when we can all reflect upon Christ's birth.

I love to collect nativities for the same reason! I enjoy having so many reminders around my home about the real importance of our Christmas...although if you ask any of my family they say I'm
"The Christmas Tree Nazi." (After the kids go to bed I redecorate the tree!
