Thank you for all your comments. Every day is progress.
Things are slowly getting better.
Steve went back to work this week. His mom came into town to stay with us for the week.
We are sooooo grateful Grandma's here!!
I have the best MIL.
She is awesome!
The bestest MIL anyone could ever ask for.
We are going to miss her when she leaves us on Friday :(
Cousin Abbey loving Matthew.
We continue to have weekly dr appts for Matthew and myself. His jaundice is getting better and he's gaining weight. My incision is slowly healing. Still very uncomfortable.
We had our first 'play' date this week. It was nice to get out and meet up with my friend and her adorable baby! I love how everyone always smiles when they see babies. Matthew is quite the charmer.
Like I said, we are making progress every day.
Some days are harder than others (thanks to the hormones), but we keep plugging along.

I love his little yawn! So cute!!
It's so so incredible isn't it? Holding YOUR baby and not someone else's. I still have to pinch myself. Emotionally it will get better, you are doing a great job and grandmas are in general so so helpful it's amazing when they are around! Matthew is the cutest little thing!! Love, Fran
Hang in there with the hormone roller coaster! I think infertility makes that part even harder. I struggled to get pregnant with my first son. After I had him, I had the baby blues. But I felt like "This is what I have wanted for so long, why am I sad?!" and it made me even sadder. Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if you feel like you can't shake it. I took a very low-dose antidepressant and it made a WORLD of difference. I still felt all the ups and downs but I no longer fell apart at the drop of a hat. Hang in there - you're doing great!
You and Matthew look beautiful!! Icant imagine how hard the hormones are on you, lots of changes!! So glad you have the help of MIL , that must be wonderful.
Looks like Abbey gas taken to Mathew rather quickly!! Nice to see :)
Glad you liked the scrapbook, I figured the pre made one will let you throw something together without too much time or effort, new mothers don't have much of either :) xoxoxoxox
Glad to hear you're getting better! Great pictures!
You had your baby - Congrats - he is so so adorable - I am such a bad blogger for just seeig this but I am so happy for you!!
I love that last picture. He is so adorable.
Hannah, you look great. You really do.
I am glad to hear you are doing better. It really does get easier. It's always hard to get your feet under you in the beginning and get your routine established. The sleep deprivation is the most brutal. I can't remember, did I send you a book about getting Mathew to sleep through the night? If not, let me know and I'll send you the title. There was a book we used for BB, and we had her sleeping through the night at 6 weeks.
Congratulations!! I, too, have been bad about keeping up but have been thinking of you and appreciate your support especially lately :)
What an aorable boy! I'm so sorry that labor and c-section recovery were hard. No fair! And so glad you've gotten some good support! I'm sure your niece is thrilled! Adorable picture of those 2 together!
