Grateful for the Journey

We spent Thanksgiving with Steve's family at his brother's and his parents came down from NY (yay!they are moving back in a couple of weeks!)

Erin cooked up a feast and a great time was had eating and spending time together.  Matthew ate mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie and even some fudge!

I have SO much to be thankful for in my life;
family, faith, health, home, the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I can go on and on.

But the one thing that I truly am grateful for this Thanksgiving is MOTHERHOOD.
It is an amazing experience.
I have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy who I ADORE and he gives me reason to get up every day.  I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who has trusted me to care for this child.

I am grateful for the journey that got me here.

What a beautiful post...so powerful, Hannah! I love the part "grateful for the journey that got you here." That journey for so many years not being able to have a child- one might ask how can you be grateful for that? But I can feel you are sincere in your statement, and it's something that I need to try harder to do...be grateful for the trials that I have in my life, because they are opportunities for me to become stronger and closer to God. I love you Hannah,and I'm so glad that I can follow you and Steve on this blog! What a great example you are to so many! Keep up it up, Mama!

Yes I went shopping at Kohls too! They had the longest lines though. It looks like you had a great thanksgiving:) I love that you give God the glory for Him trusting you with your child. What a beautiful way to look at it!
