We went Cherry picking on Saturday. It was SO much fun! The weather was cloudy and it was not hot at all! My friends came out with their families and we all went to the Orchard where the cherries were bursting from the trees!
It was delicious! Matthew ate quite a few as he was picking them too. We ended up with 25 lbs of cherries, 10 of which are tart cherries (for pies).
Afterwards, we all came back to my house and ate dinner and hung out. My friends brought food so I wouldn't have to stress about cooking, etc. It was so yummy and I have lots of leftovers for the week!
It was a fun filled day.
And it was also Steve's birthday on Saturday!! We went to breakfast in the morning and he was a good sport about us taking over his special day with cherry picking. Matthew and I love him to the moon and back!! :)

how fun! I want to go cherry picking, and 25 lbs sounds like a LOT! I'm currently eating cherries while reading this, does that count, I'm picking them up out of the baggie...
Looks like fun! I have never been cherry picking, but I am looking forward to going strawberry picking again this summer.
