Busy Saturday

Saturday morning started out with our early appt with the RE for U/S BW. Nothing new to report on that front. Lining is good, follies are growing. I wish I had something new to report because this is getting boring. I guess when it comes to IVF, they want the follies to grow slower so they can all grow together?? We go back in tomorrow (Monday) for another U/S BW.

See the band aid on my right hand? They had to draw the blood from my hand versus my arm. The nurse in our regular office is so good at finding the veins in my arm, but NO ONE else seems to be able find them, in EITHER arm. It usually takes a couple of pricks before they can find a vein. And if they can't, then they go for the veins in my hands. I don't like when they do that because it hurts a tad bit more.

After our appointment (and after Panera) we had to go to Home Depot so Steve could price out drywall. He's been helping my brother finish their basement and it's really coming along. We were so tired when we got home that we both just crashed and took a nap for about an hour.

Then I had to go to my friend Shanan's house. She is a Scentsy Consultant and was having a Fall open house. I LOVE scentsy! I stocked up on Fall and Holiday scents.

Scentsy has cute burners and plug ins.

After the Scentsy open house, I had to rush home and change, then it was off to my SIL, Erin's, baptism. I am grateful that Erin has decided to join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through her example, her children and her family will be richly blessed.

One of Erin's many talents is that she is good at making cakes. She made this cake for her baptism. It's a replica of temple baptismal fonts. The twelve oxen represent the twelve tribes of Israel. It was a beautiful and delicious cake.
Here is a close up of the oxen.

After the baptism, we went to dinner then headed over to my brother's house so Steve could work on on the basement for a little bit. My younger brother and his girlfriend were over visiting so I got to see my niece Mya. What a way to end a long day!

Thank goodness the Sabbath is a day of rest (and football)!
