Happy Friday!

I am looking forward to spending this weekend with Abbey. I'm trying to figure out something fun we can do since it's her last weekend before she goes back to school. Steve will be busy working on the yard. He's taking on a huge project by digging up all the (dead) grass in the front and back yards, sifting out the tons of rocks (boulders), adding compost, and new grass seeds. When our house was built, the builder just slapped the sod on top of tons of rocks and trash so the grass really hasn't been growing very well the past 5 years. He will be taking all of next week off to get this project done. I hope he will get it all done because if my yard still looks like a rock quarry by next weekend, I'm not going to be a happy camper.

Wish him luck! (and wish me luck to keep my calm!)

I hope everyone enjoys the Labor Day weekend!

I'm ready for Fall!!!!!!!

I hope you and your sweet girl have lots of fun this weekend! And we've been in our house five years and our yard looks awful too.

That is one heck of a project! What is with builders messing up yards? My yard in a previous house was a mud pit because of how they laid the sod. My dogs loved it, my carpet did not...

I hope you have a great weekend with Abbey!

Good luck to Steve! That is a mammoth task. My husband has been landscaping our backyard by himself this weekend too, since we're in the TWW and don't want to potentially hurt anything. He's been digging out a fish pond, and paving two areas of our backyard pretty much all on his own (the paving is a HUGE 3-step process). Our poor husbands. I hope they both get done what they want to.

I hope you all have a great weekend. :)
