Matthew, you are 11 months! Has it really been 11 months since you came into this world?!
You are growing into such a big boy.
And you are so over these monthly pictures because you refuse to sit still for them!
You are crawling everywhere and getting into everything possible. You can 'walk' if we hold your hands. I think it's just a matter of time before you will be walking on your own!
I think you weigh about 20 pounds, wearing size 3 diapers and wearing clothes 9-12 months.
You are still sleeping through the night, however lately, you've been getting up around midnight for another feeding. Growth spurt maybe??
You finally have a tooth on the bottom! You are eating more now! We started feeding you stage 3 baby food, but you are not a fan of it (because it has small chunks in it). Daddy was so excited to buy you Italian baby food, but unfortunately, you were not interested! So far the foods you do not like are mixed berries and broccoli! You also ate pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) for the first time and you LOVED it!
You enjoy playing with your toys and you play pretty well on your own too.
You enjoy it when mommy and daddy read to you.
You love bath time!
You just learned how to wave 'bye'!
And you smile when you hear grandma or cousin Abbey on the phone.
You still get SO excited when daddy comes home.
Then if he walks out of the room, you get so upset because you can't see him.
You love to nap with daddy (and he loves it too because that's his favorite thing to do).
It's hard to believe that you are going to be one next month!
(Mommy is already planning your first birthday in full force).
Mommy and daddy still find it hard to believe that we are SO blessed to have you as our son.
You are such a GOOD baby!

my baby will be 2 next month.. i still can't believe.. i still feel like yesterday i gave birth!
None of my kids liked the stage 3 baby food. Seriously, it smells terrible - I wouldn't even eat it! All of my kids were on all table food at age one. Soft foods, in very small, non-choking bites. Pasta, soups, bread, even soft chicken, lunch meat, etc. My daughter would crack me up when she was about one, I started giving her sandwiches for lunch (cut up very small). She would meticulously separate the meat cheese and bread. Depending on her mood, she may eat it all, or throw all the cheese on the floor, all the bread, or the meat. She was quite particular on what she felt like eating that day :)
I'm glad you mentioned that it's getting harder for you to get the pics since Matthew's moving so much. I was starting to think Gavin was the only one. I can't believe Matthew is 11 months! That means Gavin will be very shortly. Aahhh! How did this happen?! I hope you'll post some about your birthday party planning. I love to hear/see what everyone is doing as I try to get it together and work on G's party.

Happy 11 months MATTHEW!! I'm spelling your name in caps... because, I don't know where my head has been.. and just realized that you and my little miracle of a nephew both share Matthew as your name. Our Matthew just turned 6 months, so he is still learning many of the things you are already a Big Boy at.

Such a beautiful boy!!!! I understand how you feel. My youngest just turned 1 over the weekend (my oldest 2 a couple wks before that) and it seems like we JUST brought him home from the hospital. This year really flew by!

I love your solution for Matthew's 11 month pic since he wouldn't sit still! I might have to "borrow" that idea and have Scott hold Bristol standing up for her next few rounds of photos. She's getting more and more difficult to keep still :)
The photo of Matthew and the baby food all over him is priceless. You will love that picture forever. Only when you're a baby can you get away with that and still look PRECIOUS!
Happy 11 months! We are mostly homecooking for Oliver but he does like stage 3 baby food too. He'll get there!

Every time I see pictures of your sweet little man, it makes me so excited for the day that we'll have kids of our own! He is SO precious! As far as the cooking class, I will definitely make a post with the recipes and tricks we learned. If you guys ever get the opportunity to try a class, you should go! It was such a fun date night. :)
