Steve has a staph infectiona, again. The same kind that he had before (MRSA).
It started out like a bug bite on his leg. Then it got really swollen and I jokingly said, 'maybe it's MRSA.'
I was right!
He's been on antibiotics and is going to see the surgeon today so they can cut it open and drain it. Ugh, gross!
So while he's at the surgeon's today, I will go to Q.uest and get blood work done. When you're on Met.formin for so long (years) the RE wants you to get blood work done at least once a year to make sure everything is okay. Whatev.....
I started the BCP over the weekend and antibiotics (protocol before every cycle). Will call the RE's office in a few weeks (aka day 3 of AF) for the protocol.
If you know me in real life (IRL), please don't ask me about my IVF cycle. I'm okay with you reading about it on my blog, but I just feel uncomfortable talking about it in public. Don't ask and I may tell you (if I feel like it).
And whatever you do, please stop staring at my belly to see if I'm pregnant! (I can tell when you're trying to be sneaky about it because I can see where your eyes are staring!)
There's a bump, but it ain't NO baby bump!
Maybe I should just get one of those shirts that say, 'I'm not pregnant, I'm just fat'.

Hahah! Doesn't that drive you crazy??? People think they can sneak a peak at your belly but you know exactly what they're doing!! Like we're stupid or something...

Not only do I hate the looks but I hate when they ask me how the baby making thing is going or if I'm pregnant yet.... don't worry we'll have to make a list of topics that can distract these people from even bringing it up....hope your hubbie gets better soon too.
Thinking of you and praying for you :) I have no idea how IVF works or how long a "cycle" takes, but I'll just keep praying until I see news on the blog. God knows every single detail of the plans for your life and he knows right now not only how this is going to turn out, but what is in store next for you afterwards. I hope that your dreams of becoming a mommy come true!!
MRSA is not fun!! I have never had it, but heard miserable things about it. I hope your hubby gets better soon. Good Luck with all the IVF stuff. If I knew you IRL I wouldn't stare looking for a baby bump :) Keep Smiling.

I'd rather someone ask about how I'm doing with my infertility battles then anything, don't think I'd handle people staring at my belly real well. Probably since I'm fat and I'd be more self conscious. LOL.

Oh your poor hubs! Glad he found out quickly that it was an infection. And hooray for starting your BCP and antibiotics.
I have had people look at my tummy too....and i want to say "eyes up here" but I think that joke is used if they are starring at the ta ta's!!!

I've been thinking a lot about making a sign that I wear - especially to church - that says, "I'm not pregnant, just fat!" I had 2 people ask me in the past week. So I feel your pain!

I'm so sorry Steve's infection is back. Praying it goes away and stays away for good.
I wore one of those trendy loose shirts on a visit back home one time. An older fella that I hadn't seen in a while saw me and congratulated us. I just said, there's not congrats, I just like to eat a lot.
