Steve was getting ready to administer my Gani.relix shot last night and he was trying to get the air bubbles out of the syringe when he accidently pulled it all the way down and the medicine all spilled out. Whoops!
Yep! There goes $100 down the drain.
My follies are growing (some faster than others) and the RE said I could possibly trigger tonight, but he may wait until tomorrow so the follies that are lagging behind can catch up a bit. That means that we need to order two more doses of the Gani.relix. Add that to the additional Bra.velle we had to order earlier this week and that brings our total spent on meds this cycle to around $1,300! (Yikes!)
Accidents happen.
I still love my hubby (how could I not with a face like this??)
I still want to make cute babies with him.

$1300! Double yikes! Wow! *shaking head* This better work, gosh darn it!
What a forgiving wife you are! I hope this cycle is the one!
Yikes! Good thing he's so cute and easy to forgive!
And Ugh, $1300?!? That stinks.
Hope those follies keep growing!
Of course you do! And it will happen! Everything crossed!
Ahhh! I read that and made this face :o and then said, "oh crap!" That totally stinks!
Oh well. Like you said, accidents happen.
Give him a big hug and kiss and let him know you love him no matter what. Even if he does spill $100 on the floor. ;)
GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!!
Wow, $100 in such a tiny syringe! I did the same thing during our IVF injection class and was so afraid I'd make the same mistake with the real meds.
ICLW
WOWZA $1300 is crazy, but I hope it will all be worth it :) I am sure hubby was upset with himself so good thing you were so nice about it.
Oh I really hope you do make cute babies with him! :)
$1300 on meds? Ouch!!!
xx
Wishing you a this is it cycle.
I know first hand the emotional roller coaster this is. After the accident I was adviced not to carry a baby. Therefore we needed to try an retrieve as many eggs as possible ... the needles some to slow down - others to grow. My belly felt like a pin coushin.
Try to stay focused on the "Blessing" at the end of the journey. HHL
P.S. I'm sure hubby will be EXTRA careful next time ;0...
I hope this is it! Good luck! Can I just say that I love reading your blog, because you always have nice things to say, even in the midst of your everyday trials. You are going to make a GREAT mother someday! (Hopefully 9 mos from trigger! :D)
Oh, what a story to tell the grandkids some day! Because it WILL happen -- sending all good thoughts and wishes for you ... :)
It's because that Ganirelix shot is SO TIGHT!!! It's the hardest one to administer by far...I feel his pain - and yours!
