I go back in tomorrow morning and possibly every day after that. I keep hoping she will find a vein in the arm instead of the hand. But if she doesn't, then what's a little pain for the end result right?
The shots still hurt and I'm still a baby about it, but I endure it. I even tried icing the belly before the shot, but it still burns. Again, what's a little pain for the end result right?
What do you do with gift cards from Starbucks when you don't drink coffee? You get caramel apple cider instead. mmmm....mmmmm....good! I love it! Especially where there's a drive thru Starbucks. Yeah, it sounds lazy, but when it's so frigid cold outside, it's nice not to have to get out of the car!
If you love socks, sign up for Sock It To Me Winter 2010 over at Kimberli's. It sounds like fun. I love warm fuzzy socks, especially the toe socks.

Boo for blood work from the hand. I've had that done before and it hurts like crazy! Hope you enjoy that apple cider. It sounds divine!
oh, a bad blood draw is the worst. i have rolly, tiny veins and they are impossible to hit. a little piece of advice take a hot drink with you and hold it where your good vein is for about 30 minutes before the draw that should help it pop up better.
I remember during my first cycle feeling like the blood draws were by far the worst part! They say to make sure you're super hydrated and a friend advised using the stairs or some kind of exercise before to get the blood moving fast. I never tried that one, but definitely know that on days when I haven't had enough fluid it's really bad. Plus once the veins figure out what's going on (that they're getting poked every other day!), they act up and give you a hard time, so it hurts more anyway. Ugh. But yes, it will be worth it!!!
Gosh honey, I've really been in the dark! I'm so sorry. I didn't realize you started your new cycle! Consider prayers sent your way b/c I'll be praying for you!
Keep tough and remember that with every shot...it's a step towards your baby! xoxoxo
Blood taken from than hand hurts!
Oh the Caramel Apple Cider is the best! Makes me want to have one right now!
Sorry you had trouble getting your blood drawn. Hope it's better the next time!
