All we need is a little LOVE! This blog is about sisters uniting together and giving others some love because life is hard and who couldn't use a little love? The rules for this award is simple.

Here's my 7 things:

1. I took a big pay cut to switch positions so I could have more of a work/life balance. I realized it really wasn't all about the money because I'm not going to be in this job forever.  What a big difference it has made!

2. I love milk chocolate and white chocolate.

3. I hate my ear lobes.  They stick out and it bothers me.  I rarely wear ear rings because I don't want people looking at my ear lobes.
4. I'm the only one who graduated from college in my family. 

5. I wish I had more time to do volunteer work.

6. I've always wanted to play the piano.  Maybe someday I will take lessons (with my kids?).

7. I've been trying to get tickets to Oprah for years, but it's impossible!! (Maybe I should write her and tell her to do a show on infertility?!  I know a few great bloggers out there who would be great guests!)

Sorry if this isn't very interesting, it's 2:30 AM and I am tired (although I got up at 2:00 pm today)!

Three awards in one week!

Three awards in a week!  I feel so honored.  I remember when I first started blogging and would see these awards on other people's blogs and hoped someday someone would bestow the honor on me.  I'll try to not let it get to my head.  It's really made for a good Monday though.  Especially taking my mind off my pending Beta test on Wednesday.  It's like I've been holding my breath the last two weeks and I'll finally be able to exhale on Wednesday.

The rules are that I'm suppose to write 10 things about me that readers don't know.  This is what I came up with (nothing too exciting):

1.  My husband told me in HS that he was going to marry me.  I laughed at him. We did not date in HS.  Here we are, happily married for nine years.

2.  When I was younger, I wanted to have all my kids (4-6) by time I was 30.  Boy, am I way behind schedule.  I am now 31 and still no kids. Does Life ever go according to plan? 

3.  I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when I was 9 years old.  I am the only member in my family.  It was the best decision I've ever made.  My life has been richly blessed ever since! I can't imagine my life without the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

4.  My husband wants to be a farmer, but I can't bring myself to accept that yet.  I can't take that risk just yet.  But I am trying to be opened minded about it. I've "met" a few farmer wives in blogland who are wonderful. I enjoy reading about their lives.

5.  I love to scrapbook and make cards.  I am about 5 years behind in my scrapping!  Yikes!

6.  I love eating out.  My all time favorite food is Thai.  My favorite dessert is warm brownie sundae with vanilla bean icecream and a cherry on top. 

7.  I love to read. I've read all the Harry Potter books and the Twilight series. Looking forward to reading the Loss Symbol.  Some of my favorite authors are Dan Brown, Vince Flynn and Amy Tan.

8.  I enjoy traveling, but my husband would much rather just stay home. And due to limited funds, traveling has been very limited.

9.  I don't like cleaning so I usually let things pile up and then it gets overwhelming, then I stress out. I like to entertain because it forces me to clean.  But I don't let people go upstairs in my house because that's where I hide the mess.

10. I have always had a fondness for babies and children.  I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up.  I am not a career woman at all.  My dream job is to be a stay at home mom.  Some people look at you strangely when you tell them that's what you want to be.  Since my dream job  has not come along yet, I'm kind of feeling like I'm stuck in a rut.  I will not give up on that dream though.
