Last night was the first time I got Matthew to really Laugh Out Loud!

I was sitting on the couch with him on my knees and I started to fake laugh and he busted out in giggles.

It was the cutest baby giggles ever!

11 Yr Anniversary

Yesterday was Steve's 33rd birthday.

Happy Birthday to the best husband and greatest daddy!

One year older and (possibly) wiser too!

We love you!!

I thought it would be cute to compare Steve and Matthew at 3 months. 

Unfortunately, I don't have any baby pictures of myself to compare to Matthew.
(I think Matthew looks more like his momma. He's got momma's round face!)

I am having major issues with blogger comments.  It keeps asking me to log in to post comments over and over.  I finally logged in and unchecked the 'keep me log in' and I think that did the trick.  So frustrated with blogger lately!  Now I know why people switch to word press!

A First Father's Day

A very proud daddy.

A wonderful husband.

I love the handsome boys in my life.

They bring me so much joy and laughter!

And while I wanted to make it a BIG weekend for Steve, it was a very simple weekend.

We were just too tired.

And he was okay with that (because he's a simple man).

That's why I love him.

I made his favorite dinner and dessert....

Sausage stromboli

and

Strawberry squares.

YUMMY!

Steve seemed to enjoy it all.

Especially spending time with this little handsome baby.

Happy Father's day.

Matthew is 4 Months Old

Oh my little pumpkin!

You are 4 months old today.

You are chunking up and mommy loves all your baby rolls! I love kissing those chunky thighs!

You weigh 14 lbs 11 oz and 24 1/4 inches long.

You are drinking about 4 ounces a feeding.

You are sleeping through the night for 7 -8 hrs straight! What a blessing!

You have discovered your hands and will suck on them as soon as you wake up because you are SO hungry.

You JUST started to roll over!

It's been fun watching you reach that milestone.  You would turn on your side and we could see the determination in your eyes to push yourself a little further!

You are sleeping on your belly.  We put you in your crib on your back and find you in the morning on your belly (just like daddy)!

Your eye color is slowly changing from hazel to brown. Mommy wishes they would stay hazel like daddy's eyes.

Your smile still melts mommy's heart!

Daddy can get you to smile everytime he talks to you.

I love this picture of you because your hair makes you look like baby Wolverine!

Your hair is getting longer and we always get compliments on it. Contrary to the old wives tale, I did not have a lot of hearburn while I was pregnant with you.

You LOVE bath time and are so content in the water.  We can't wait to take you to the pool this summer.

You are starting to drool a lot more. (possibly teething??!)

You have brought us SO much joy.

Our lives have been forever changed and immensely blessed...all because of YOU!

Crazy Commute and Wonderful Walks

The last two days of going into the office has been exhausting!

I forgot how long the comnute is (an hour and 15mins, one way) and how horrible the traffic is.

Thank goodness it's back to working at home tomorrow.

I missed Matthew all day.

I texted the sitter and she sent me pictures through out the day.

It made the day more bearable once I saw his cute little face!

When I got home from work, I just smoothered him with kisses....then we ate dinner.

After dinner, we went out for a family walk.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I was just happy to be with my boys.

Matthew's been drooling a lot so the bib is to catch it all! He may be teething soon!

I love family walks together!

Cuteness Overload

We took Matthew to Tar.get to get his three month pictures a few weeks ago and I just got them back over the weekend. 

Warning - you will fall in love with all this cuteness!

I find that the chunkier he gets, the more I want to eat him up!

I have to go into the office today and tomorrow and it's going to be soooo hard to leave this little chunkster all day!  I know he's in good hands with the sitter (and Steve will be working from home), but I will miss not being able to take a break out of my day to kiss all his chunkiness.
